Love Potion Tilda

Hello lovelies

Another day resting up here at home, with nothing else to do I inked up one of my new Tilda's and gave her a whiz, I LOVE her!  It took me all day to make this card, I was back and forth at it for ages.  I am trying to master the shabby chic look, using layers and distressing, i'm not quite there yet but this is what I came up with...

I just think she is the cutest thing ever!  Look at her chubby cheeks!  I coloured here using TH Distress Inks, I love how the colours have turned out.  I watched a Youtube tutorial by Camila on colouring which was so helpful, you can find the tutorial ------> HERE if you're interested

Ingredients:

Colouring // TH Distress Inks
Flowers // Wild Orchid Crafts
Ribbon, Pearls & Sentiment Stamp // Old Stash
Shabby Chic Corners // Dunelm Mill Craft Section

I am going to enter this card into a few challenges, I haven't done that in so long so here goes!  The challenges are as follows:

Magnolia-licious Challenge - Anything Goes

Creative Inspirations - Something Old & Something New
My something new is my Tilda stamp which I got on Monday and my something old is my flowers & ribbon which I have had since last year before I lost my mojo!

Party Time Tuesday - Friendship Cards
My sentiment is "One of a Kind" and I think this is the perfect sentiment to sum up any special friend.

Right it appears to be after midnight, so it's off to bed for me. Catch y'all laters!  Oh don't forget you can follow me on Bloglovin, or find me on twitter, links below!

Much love

Gardener Gayle

Evening lovelies, big hello to my new followers and my old ones too :) thank you!  This week it has been so beautiful in Aberdeen, every day has been around 26 degrees, with a heatwave like this in town I haven't been card making, but last night it wasn't so warm so I decided to finish off this card.  I am loving the Saturated Canary stamps.  My local craft shop now stock them ( lucky me, poor bank balance) anyway here she is ...

Stamp: Gardener Gayle, Saturated Canary// Papers: old stash// Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts//Feathers, Ribbon & pearls: Stash

I coloured her using distressed inks, I only have 6 colours at the moment so I mixed some together, I would have liked the colours to be a bit deeper but I am just learning to distress colour, so I am fairly happy with her for now.

Much Love
Kirsty
